What people say about us
"I have attended a couple of your cooking courses now and really enjoyed them. What's great about your course is the hands-on experience you get and the ability to get new ideas and try new things. I also really enjoy Alison's simple yet impressive recipes and the helpful "foodie" tips along the way. I will be back for more inspiration!" Anna
"Cooked my green curry and Tuna dish last week. My friends could not believe it. This dish has far surpassed all of their expectations(and my own). hmmmmm mmmmm. I look forward to our next class, I'm in desperate need of a follow up recipe to maintain and solidify my 'Whizz in the kitchen' title?! " Doug.
"We would just like to thankyou for a wonderful evening. Not only did everyone have fun but they learnt stuff too! Everyone who attended thought it was fantastic!! We really appreciate the effort and level of tolerance you had, we would recommend your business to anyone! Thanks again, look forward to seeing you in the future, as we will surely be back!!" Dave & Nisha.
"Just wanted to drop a note to thank you for the awesome night - everyone had a lot of fun and we all learnt something. whether it be about cooking, teamwork or ourselves! Jen was a great teacher and made the whole experience enjoyable. We will definitely be back." Tonia. NZ ABB.
"We all had a great time last Friday. As I said when I dropped off the drinks it was a surprise and the team didn't click until we walked in & sat down. Everything worked out perfectly - the instruction, the timing, & of course the food. Thanks to you and your team for a wonderful evening. We would all have no hesitation in recommending you to friends, family, & colleagues". John. One Steel.
"I really enjoyed the class, it was great to get enthusiastic about cooking again - I think one can get a little lazy when mostly cooking for oneself - so the class was just what I needed. I'm looking forward to attending another and learning something else. Something else funny was that I've told lots of people about the 'tricks of the trade' from Alison (washing knife under water to remove odours from chopping, the orange cutting method, etc) that have certainly impressed people I would regard as far more expert than I at cooking, so they think I'm a master-cook now! Hilarious. Thought you might like to know, as those little tips are a great way to get instant (even if undeserved) street cred amongst friends and work colleagues" Crispin.
"We had a BLAST!! I've spread the word to lot's of my mates and colleagues about Maincourse & your team. Tried the brownies again in the weekend man they rock!! Staff are still talking about the day - was a great way to start the year" Tone.
"On behalf of the Netball New Zealand team, thank you for looking after us so well yesterday and teaching us how to make some fabulous, yet easy to prepare finger food. You have a wonderful venue and the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves".
"We had a fantastic time last night - everyone really got in to it. The level of engagement within the team surpassed our expectations and the buzz has continued today. I would definitely recommend Main Course to anyone looking to achieve a similar outcome. Thanks for everything" Fiona. IAG.
"The evening was a HUGE success. Our guys were a little skeptical to begin with but your guys were great at welcoming them and making them feel at ease and very soon everyone was buzzing with ingredients flying and spoons stirring. Many thanks once again for great food, fantastic professional fun people and a top night out that will be spoken about in the company for years!" Debbie. BMC.
"Thanks it was a brilliant way to get our team together, bond and have some fun. One of our guys said it was the best event he had been do in 4 ½ years at TC...and he is a chef by trade!" Brian. Telecom.
